About Agent Aid
Agent Aid is infrastructure for teams shipping autonomous systems. We connect agents and backends to real humans when work requires judgment, verification, communication, or physical-world execution—using structured tasks instead of improvised operations hacks.
What we are
A narrow API and workflow layer: software creates tasks with explicit titles and descriptions, humans complete them through dedicated flows, and your automation records completion. We are not a replacement for your CRM, HR stack, or model provider—we are the bridge when human-in-the-loop must be dependable.
Why AI agents still need humans
Models optimize for plausible language; operations need accountable outcomes. Physical reality, regulated decisions, adversarial users, and low-frequency/high-impact failures all point to people. The question is not if humans belong in the loop, but how you integrate them without losing velocity.
Tasks that should involve humans
- Identity and high-risk financial decisions
- On-site verification and logistics
- Moderation, approvals, and policy interpretation
- Fallbacks when tools fail or confidence is too low
Trust, safety, and accountability
We bias toward small payloads, revocable API keys, and clear audit trails. Production deployments still need your legal, security, and vendor reviews— see our privacy overview for data-handling themes.
For builders and operators
Engineering teams get a documented HTTP surface and patterns for escalation. Operations teams get readable tasks instead of model prose buried in chat. Everyone shares stable identifiers they can trace when something goes wrong.
Where we are today
The product is evolving—APIs, DynamoDB tables, and developer surfaces may change during beta. Pin integrations to documented behavior and watch the roadmap for MCP and webhooks.
